Tennis Elbow Brace

Tennis Elbow Brace

The tennis Elbow Brace is a common treatment for elbow pain. Tennis elbow or lateral epicondylitis is an injury caused by repeating the same motions over and over. Examples of such motions are swing a tennis racket, using a screwdriver or turning a wrench.

The tendon is the part of the muscle that attaches to the bone. Elbow pain occurs when the tendons tear at the bone on the outside of the joint. This creates pain when using the arm, especially when attempting to lift objects. The pain is so instense, the arm is essentially rendered useless.

Tennis Elbow Braces work by supplying extra support to the muscles at the elbow joint. Under the pressure from the tennis elbow brace, the tendons are prevented from flexing too strongly. This keeps the tendon in place, preventing damage. To be effective the brace must exert pressure on the arm. However, a properly adjusted brace allows the blood to flow through the arm unrestricted.

Perhaps the most exciting treatment for tennis elbow the relief bar. Exercising by holding the rubber bar and twisting provides relief from the pain. This effect is cumulative. In addition, no addition device must be worn. When you are done exercising you are ready to go.
