The Ocean
Imagine lying in bed with a gentle ocean breeze drifting over you. Or better yet, rocking slowly in a hammock strung between two palm trees. Hear the surf running in and out a few yards away. Smell the sea salt in the air. See the stars swirling overhead without a light for miles over the ocean. Can you think of a more relaxing way to fall asleep? Preserve that feeling with your very own beach themed bedroom. Escape to shore at the end of every day.
The relaxing environment of the ocean. Do you know why white noise sound machines have ocean or surf sounds? The rhythmic pulse of the ocean waves is very soothing and conducive to sleep. The night surf sounds wash over you and carry you away.
Plus, there may be a deep seeded connection in all of us to the sea, the origin of life on Earth. This is similar to the connection with the forest, where early man sought refuge from predators and heat under the canopy of the trees. So too does the ocean have a place in our collective subconscious.

Imagine seagreen colors or blue waters. Think of seashell, fish or coral patterns. Or perhaps sailing appeals to you, with sea goin vessels, rigging, sails and rope. No ocean decor would be complete without a painting of sandy dunes and sunrise shoreline.
