Squidoo Lens

Import your Squidoo Lens

Recover your locked Squidoo Lens. Do you have a lens that got locked? You can quickly and easily get your content back online by importing it here.

Squidoo allows you to export your content, images and Amazon affiliate products. At the bottom of right side of the workshop page there is a button "Save lens text to your computer". This will produce an XML file that contains all of your content. You can save this XML file on your computer.

Next, register for an account here. After you establish your account, visit the Import Squidoo Lens page. You can browse for the XML file of content you save. Also, supply your Amazon affiliate tag so that you will get credit for Amazon products. Click the import button and bang, your lens is instantly imported and back online.

To recap, here are the steps to import your lens.

1. Login to you Squidoo account and edit your locked lens

2. In the Squidoo workshop are the bottom of right side of the screen you'll find a button "Save lens text to your computer". Click this button to export your lens as XML and save it on your computer.

3. Login (or create an account) at piranhalake.com

4. Use this page and the "choose file" button to browse to the XML file you saved. Also, fill in the Amazon affiliate tag you want to use (we'll assume it is the one from your profile).

5. Then click the "import" button to import your lens.

6. We will import your lens, and you will be redirected to your new page. If choose to make further edits, visit the dashboard.
