HP Deskjet 1050
Are you looking for a cheap all-in-one-printer? The HP DeskJet 1050 is just that. It prints, scans and copies all from one device. The benefit of this printer is the small price. It is difficult to find a cheaper 3-in-1 printer than the DeskJet 1050. Plus, Hewlett-Packard is a well respected name in the printer market. I have had multiple HP printers over time, and I have always been satisfied. I find HP much better quality than Lexmark printers.
One word of warning. The ink cartridges do not last very long. You may find that you are replacing ink cartridges frequently. The trick I use is to have one set of ink in the printer, and another set as stand-by. When I have to replace the ink cartridges, I always know I have a spare available. When I put my stand-by ink in, then I know it is time to go buy more cartridges.
Overall, the HP DeskJet 1050 is good, inexpensive starting printer, copier and scanner. The scanning is the feature I like best.
