Camo Wedding Rings

Camo Wedding Rings

Camo wedding rings are the perfect way to symbolize the sacred union of marriage.

The earliest forms of engagement and weddings rings where pagan in origin. A simple ring was fashioned from plant material like grass be weaving it into shape. The ring was to bind one person to another, and control the spirit.

At the height of the Roman Empire, the engagement ring became much more formal. It was a gold ring, with gold being an accepted form of currency. The engagement ring was meant to celebrate the upcoming nuptials.

The wedding also became more standardized at this time. But, the wedding band was fashioned from iron. The meaning of the iron was to declare the legally bound contract of marriage. The husband now owned the bride, as it was customary for a woman to be supervised by either her father or her husband.

Today, the meaning of wedding rings is largely the same. The ring itself declares ownership to an extent. In other words, it signals that person is in a legally binding marriage. Of course, the bride is longer in service of the groom, but a more combined ownership is implied.

Camo wedding rings still denote the marriage contract. But they also show the rugged male spirit. Camouflage is the outfit of choice for the hunter, they long dominated male role. Camo wedding rings embrace both the spirit of love and romance while showcasing the strong male role.
