Personalize your QR Code
QR Code can be seen almost anywhere.
In order to maximize the wanted effect of your QR Code it needs to be scanned in the first place.
A QR Code just by itself will probably not be scanned quickly, an incentive for the code to be scanned must be given. For many products this could be extra information like a link to an online manual, or other specific information. When a QR Code is combined with a business card, or in another way combined with a company, this content of the QR Code could be contact details, or other company specific details.
Besides the content, a QR Code can also be personalized by by adding a graphic in combination with the code. A QR code holds a level of error correction, so a damaged code can still be read. But there is even a better way, by integrating a graphic in a QR Code, the image itself can be made part of the content of the QR Code. In this way the error correction will not see the graphic as a damage to the QR Code message.
There are two benefits to this method. The first is obvious, an undamaged code will have less problems when being scanned. The second is that a graphic that is part of the code can occupy more space in the QR Code, than a graphic that requires the error correction to undo the 'damage'
